Ecological responses to climate extremes

3D ANIMATION

Scenes of an 3D animation that visualizes the effects of an extreme drought on the ecosystem. Plants, insects, worms and microbes are highly dependent on the condition of the soil. The research aims to better understand the conditions and effects of tipping points. A tipping point can be caused by a long drought that may permanently impact an ecosystem.
